Consideration for Green Roof Designs
This course will serve as an introduction to green roofs. The participant will gain an understanding of what a green roof is, public and private benefits that can be gained from a green roof, design considerations for green roofs, the green roof design team members and their roles, and how to address particular South Florida challenges that face green roofs.
The course is based on materials from Green Roof Design 101 Introductory Course, Green Roof Infrastructure: Design and Installation 201; courses offered by Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, USGBC LEED Technical information and research being conducted by Roy-Fisher Associates, Inc.
